About Dogs

Hope Animal Rescue Centre was created in 2011 after the founder realised just how many people were having to say goodbye to their loved pets due to changes in circumstances that meant they weren’t able to look after their pets for a period of time. Hospital stays, homelessness or changes in personal circumstances were forcing people to give up their pets simply because they had no one to look after them until they got back on their feet.

H.A.R.C provide short-term or long-term foster homes to bridge the gap so that people and their pets can be reunited.

We also rescue and rehome animals that have found themselves homeless and alone. These include animals whose owners can no longer care for them, pound dogs that have only 7 days to find a rescue space and even police-referred cases where animals are in need.

We are raising money for a centre in Long Eaton. We try to be there for animals and their owners in distress. To do this we need foster carers & fundraisers.

We foster for people in hospital or made homeless. We also take death row dogs and stray cats.
